About Awakening Acts
Awakening Acts is a community outreach ministry serving individuals and neighborhoods often overlooked, underserved, or avoided. Our work is rooted in compassion, presence, and obedience to the words of Jesus in Matthew 25 — meeting people where they are with food, clothing, fellowship, and care.
We regularly serve in communities across Baltimore and surrounding areas, including neighborhoods many consider difficult or dangerous. Through years of consistent presence, humility, and respect, we have been welcomed by residents and entrusted with relationships built on sincerity rather than agenda.
Awakening Acts is not focused on money, buildings, or institutional growth. We do not preach prosperity or seek visibility. Our mission is rescue — reaching brothers and sisters who have drifted, been wounded, or forgotten, and restoring dignity through practical help, friendship, prayer, and ongoing support.
Our outreach includes street ministry, community visits, transportation assistance, food and clothing distribution, fellowship gatherings, and spiritual care — including prayer and deliverance for those seeking freedom and restoration. Services are offered openly and without discrimination.
Awakening Acts is an outreach ministry of the Ministry of Repentance & Holiness USA, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and serves communities with humility, accountability, and love.
