Leadership

Awakening Acts is led by Senior Pastor Louis Lupo, Executive Director, who brings decades of executive leadership experience together with more than 15 years of missions and pastoral ministry. He holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and an undergraduate degree from the State University of New York (SUNY). His ministry work has included evangelism, church planting, prison ministry, street and homeless outreach, and community-focused initiatives. The organization seeks to serve faithfully, recognizing that lasting impact comes through God working through committed teams of individuals and communities.

Seletha Chrystal— Sr. Bishop, Director, Baltimore, Maryland, USA

With over 20 years of ministry experience, Sr. Bishop Seletha Chrystal serves as an Overseer within Awakening Acts, combining ministry leadership, nursing home care, evangelism, and compassionate outreach. Raised in a ministry family, she brings deep spiritual insight and practical wisdom to the work, serving with mercy, faithfulness, and a heart for restoration. Her ministry includes supporting the elderly, encouraging those in need, and extending Christ-centered care to communities often overlooked.

Willie Chrystal — Senior Coordinator, Awakening Acts

Willie Chrystal serves as Senior Coordinator for Awakening Acts, bringing extensive organizational leadership experience and a long history of evangelism and outreach ministry. His work spans multiple forms of evangelism including street outreach, media ministry, hospital visitation, prison ministry, and community-based service initiatives. Known for strong coordination and top notch communication skills and faithful service, he plays an important role in supporting ministry operations, outreach efforts, and the ongoing mission to reach individuals with compassion and practical care.

Wei Dupeyron — Overseer, Mid-Atlantic Region, USA

Wei Dupeyron serves as an Overseer with Awakening Acts, bringing over 10 years of missions experience focused on compassionate outreach and practical ministry. Her work includes nursing support, elderly visitation, and mercy-centered ministry that provides comfort, prayer, and encouragement to individuals facing physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges. She is deeply committed to serving vulnerable populations, including those experiencing homelessness and individuals impacted by substance abuse, offering hope through consistent presence and Christ-centered care.


Gracie Dupeyron — Pastor, Mid Atlantic Region, USA

Gracie Dupeyron serves as an Overseer with Awakening Acts, contributing more than a decade of missions and outreach experience. Her ministry emphasizes mercy and comfort, supporting elderly communities, participating in nursing and caregiving outreach, and advocating for individuals experiencing homelessness or recovery from addiction. Through compassionate service and faithful discipleship, she helps extend the mission of Awakening Acts by meeting people where they are and walking alongside them toward restoration and renewed hope.
